The Southern Pines police is investigating an incident of a prowler or Peeping Tom on W. Delaware Ave.

At 9:35 p.m. Monday police responded to the 300 block of W. Delaware Ave. for a report of a prowler/Peeping Tom.

A homeowner reported seeing an individual outside the residence looking in the windows of the home at the occupants inside. The homeowner chased the suspect briefly on foot from the home towards North Page Street.

It was later determined that the suspect left behind a blue and white mountain bike and discarded a yellow polo shirt while fleeing from the homeowner.

The suspect is described only as a Hispanic male approximately 20 years of age.
