The Moore County Chamber of Commerce will hold a "lunchinar" on networking from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14
The program speaker will be Ed Gideon, a licensed business coach with ActionCOACH Business Coaching. Gideon will speak on how to be an effective networker.
"Networking is an invaluable component to promoting a business," said Patrick Coughlin, president and CEO of the Chamber. "Ed Gideon's program is a must-see for anyone looking to learn how to network effectively."
In today's fast-paced world of industry, it isn't always easy to find the time to network and publicize a business, a news release said. But the good news is quantity doesn't always equal quality.
Through Gideon's program, "How to Be an Effective Networker," attendees will learn how to make each and every networking opportunity count.
With more than 36 years of experience as a business owner, chief financial officer and sales executive in both the manufacturing and service sectors, Gideon has the background to help business owners achieve their goals.
In addition, Gideon holds a graduate degree in systems management/analysis from the University of Southern California, an undergraduate degree from The University of Texas-Austin, and is veteran of the U.S. Army as an infantry officer with Airborne and Ranger training.
This program is $12 for Chamber members and $25 for nonmembers. Preregis-tration and payment are required. To register, visit www.moorecountychamber.com, call (910) 692-3926 or e-mail info@moorecountychamber.com.
