The following information was provided by the Moore County Sheriff’s Department.
Arrests
Aug. 29: Samuel Marquell Brower, 17, of Robbins, resisting an officer.
Reports
Aug. 20: Female, 64, reported someone damaged a light post at the end of the driveway at her home on Firetree Lane in West End.
Aug. 24: Male, 64, reported someone entered his home on Ryder Cup Boulevard in Pinebluff and took a shotgun, a rifle and $100; Female, 24, reported she was slapped in the face by her boyfriend at a residence on Morgan Lane in Pinebluff; Female, 21, reported she was assaulted and threatened at a home on Waynes Road in Carthage.
Aug. 25: Officers were called to a residence on Possum Holler Road, Eagle Springs, for a report of an overdose; Deputies responded to a report that someone had taken a radio and a quilt from Bensalem Presbyterian Church in Eagle Springs; Female, 63, reported someone broke into her home on Sundown Drive in Vass and stole a computer and jewelry; Male, 40, of West End, reported someone removed items from his vehicle while it was parked at a service station in West End. Items removed include a bass guitar, an electric guitar and a electronic keyboard.
Aug. 26: Male, 45, of Rowe Avenue in Aberdeen, reported someone used his identity to purchase services from Dish Network and Progress Engergy in the amount of $399.89; Male, 55, reported someone stole a female Rottweiler from his home on N.C. 24-27 in Robbins; Male, 52, of Vivian Street in West End, reported that someone stole jewelry;
Male, 44, reported finding property alongside a road that belonged to a woman from West End. The property was returned to the woman by a sheriff’s deputy; Female, 85, of Jordan Chapel Lane, Southern Pines, reported someone stole a money order and cash from her totaling $937.77.
Aug. 27: Two males reported they were stabbed by a known assailant at their residence on Hayes Drive in Eagle Springs; Male, 29, reported someone stole a dirt bike from the side yard of his home on Meadowfield Circle in Aberdeen; Male, 26, of Jackson Springs, reported someone had stolen checks from him and was forging his signature in attempt to cash them.
Aug. 28: Female, 53, reported someone broke into a storage unit on Holly Place in West End and took a space heater, lawn equipment, a television, assorted CDs and DVDs, a dryer, speakers and a chain saw; Male, 75, reported someone broke into his chicken houses on Mount Carmel Church Road in Carthage and stole $4,500 worth of copper wire; Female, 27, of Pinebluff, reported she was assaulted by an ex-boyfriend. She reported that he forced her into a car, hit her and then shot a gun at her when she jumped out of the car and ran away.
Aug. 29: Female, 41, reported a known subject violated an order of protection by driving by her home, slowed down and stared at the victim’s daughter; Female, 44, of Stanton Hill Road, Cameron, reported someone stole two bicycles from her home; Female, 62, reported an incident of domestic violence at her home on North Currant Street in Pinebluff; Deputies chased two juveniles operating a four-wheeler through Carthage; Female, 22, reported she was involved in an altercation with her ex-boyfriend at her home on Fellowship Way in Aberdeen.
