Emily Christaldi was crowned Union Pines Homecoming Queen.

Westover put a damper on Union Pines homecoming contest by claiming a 29-6 win.

Trailing 16-0, Taylor O'Neil put the Vikes on the board in the third quarter, to get Union Pines within 10, but the visitors responded with 13 unanswered points to claim the 29-6 Cape Fear Valley Conference victory.

The score was 9-0 at halftime. During halftime homecoming activities, Emily Christaldi was named homecoming queen and Taylor O'Neil was crowned homecoming king.

Union Pines fell to 0-4 in conference play and 2-7 overall, while Westover improved to 2-1 and 3-5.
