Column Really Told it Like It Is
Thanks for printing Fred Wolferman’s column on Oct. 1. His paragraph starting with “No political group — not the Republicans, not the tea party (and certainly) not the Democrats — will tell us what we need to hear; that we need to reduce the costs of entitlements …” is absolutely true. It should have been printed in all caps and bold print so that more people would see it and read it, and maybe understand it.
Also, Dusty Rhoades’ weekly fictional piece was again incorrectly placed in the Opinion section. Shouldn’t his “work” be on the funny pages or on the page with the cartoons?
