The Pinecrest girls added individual singles and doubles titles to their Southeastern Conference regular season tennis championship at the Pinehurst Resort on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Junior Ally Parziale defeated teammate Mariotti Meyers 7-5, 6-0 for the singles title. Freshman Caroline Decker and sophomore Chrissy Nurnberg beat Charlotte Laurent and Munroe Buie, of Scotland County, 6-6 (7-3), 6-3 for the doubles title.

All six of the Patriots competing in the event qualified for the East Regional tournament on Oct. 22-23 at Terry Sanford. Seniors Alyson Grine and Gaby Adler made it by finishing fourth in the doubles.

Parziale was voted conference player of the year before the tournament. This was her first conference singles title after reaching the championship match for the third year in a row. Last weekend she was the runner-up in her age group at the North Ridge Junior Open USTA event held in Raleigh.
