The Moore County Sheriff’s Office supplied the following information.
Arrests
Oct. 4: Lance Edward Elliot, 34, of Carthage, assault on a female, drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, resist, delay or obstruct a public officer;
Reports
Oct. 1: Male, 69, reported someone removed items from behind a building on Elcanie Road in Robbins. Items removed included the rear end off a Chevrolet, a 280-gallon oil drum, an old lawn mower, mobile home furnace and various spare parts; An employee with Burney’s Hardware in Aberdeen reported someone left the store without paying for a cylinder full of gas.
Oct. 2: Female, 21, reported someone removed items from her purse while she was at a residence of Bethlehem Church Road in Carthage. Items included cash and prescribed medication; Male, 35, reported he was knocked off his bike by three dogs while riding in the area of Bryant and Johnson roads in Carthage.
Oct. 3: Female, 68, reported someone pried open the back door of her home on Murdocksville Road in West End and stole various appliances; An employee at Lee Electric in Aberdeen reported that someone entered an unlocked company vehicle and stole a GPS device, a cell phone and a briefcase; Male, 44, reported someone damaged the door knobs on a door at her home on Poorboy Lane, Eagle Springs; Female, 28, reported someone removed a bicycle from her home on Wright Road in Vass; Female, 67, reported someone removed a debit card from her purse while she was at Southside Missionary Baptist Church, Aberdeen, for services; Male, 30, reported someone took two bikes from his home on Wright Road in Vass; Male, 45, reported someone took a 1988 Honda and a tow dolly from a residence on River Road in Robbins; Male, 28, reported someone broke down a door at his home on Heron Road in Carthage and stole items, including a fishing rod and reel and cash.
Oct. 4: Male, 47, reported someone stole a dog from his home on Vass-Carthage Road in Carthage; Male, 49, reported that his wife burned his clothes and shoes near his home of T. Johnson Road in Carthage; Male, 43, reported someone entered his home on Pineland Drive in Carthage and stole copper wiring; Male, 79, reported that someone stole copper wire from chicken houses at his home on North Howard Mill Road, Robbins; Female, 73, reported someone entered her home on Gurney Road in Robbins and removed wiring and a window unit air conditioner; Male, 43, reported that he was scratched by another person during an incident that happened at a home on Jennet Drive, West End; Female, 22, reported that she was assaulted by her boyfriend during an incident at a home on N.C. 73 in West End; Female, 46, reported someone entered her home on Kelly Drive in Cameron and stole a television; Male, 79, reported someone stole a Har Plow from the backyard of his home on N.C. 24-27 in Cameron; Male, 27, reported someone stole a CD player/stereo from his 1991 Cadillac while it was parked near his home on T Johnson Road, Carthage; Male, 46, reported that someone broke into a coin-operated machine behind the building at Tommy’s Crown on U.S. 15-501 in Carthage. The subjects took $50 in coins.
