Aberdeen Police Reports Through Oct. 7

The Aberdeen Police Department provided the following information.

Arrests

Oct. 2: Patrick George Southworth, 35, of Aberdeen, misdemeanor contempt of court, perjury, court violations; Alejandra Orlando Austin, 37, misdemeanor city ordinance violations;.

Oct. 4: Cara Leigh Dent, 32, of Southern Pines, misdemeanor driving while impaired, misdemeanor hit and run, open container violation.

Oct. 6: Arthur William Hipwell, 46, of Aberdeen, felony larceny.

Oct. 7: Alejandra Orlando Austin, 37, of Aberdeen, misdemeanor larceny and misdemeanor vandalism; Ann Knox Thompson, 47, of Southern Pines, failure to appear and probation violation.

Reports

Sept. 30: Female, 37, reported someone accessed her computer without permission.

Oct. 3: Female, 30, reported that two black males took her purse from her home in the 600 block of Bradford Drive; Male, 43, reported that a subject broke the lock off a town water meter; Female, 52, reported unknown subjects took 50 $2 bills, $25 in Susan B. Anthony coins, a boat title, a 12-guage shotgun and a man’s diamond band;

Oct. 4: Male, 33, reported a subject allowed a dog to run at large in the 100 block of Walkabout Drive; A male employee with Sears reported that someone stole a drill, hand tools, a toolbox and range cords from a rear box in his 2004 GMC truck that was parked behind the Sears building on 1377 N. Sandhills Blvd.; A female employee with Horizontal Equipment Manufacturing reported someone stole metal from behind a building in the 100 block of Taylor Street.

Oct. 5: Female, 27, of Robbins, reported that someone stole cash and various forms of identification from a 1999 Dodge parked at Aberdeen Primary School.

Oct. 6: An employee with Wal-Mart, 250 Turner Street, reported someone used a counterfeit $5; Male, 51, reported someone cut a 100-foot garden hose at a home in the 100 block of Elm Street.

Oct. 7: An employee with Great Clip, 1811 N. Sandhills Blvd., reported that a known subject had embezzled money from the business from July 2009 to Aug. 2010.
