A bright, sunny, breezy day greeted the throng of people that took advantage of Autumnfest in Southern Pines today.

The 32nd annual festival kicked off at 9 a.m. this morning at Downtown Park in Southern Pines, and the fun continues through 4 p.m. Several races, including a 5K that wound through the historic area of the town, concluded this morning, but the booths featuring crafts, concessions, youth activities and games are still bringing in the crowds.

Hubbard performs at 2:30 p.m. The Sandhills School of Performing Arts goes on at 2 p.m., while the Pocket Creek Band ends the day’s entertainment with a performance at 3:15 p.m.
