West End Man Nabs Two Suspects With Stolen Goods

A West End man caught two Pinehurst residents taking his property from him Thursday and detained the suspects until they could be arrested by Moore County Sheriff’s Office investigators.

Howard Eugene Campbell Jr., 28, of 175 Arnette Street, Pinehurst, and Lataurus Jermale Goins, 25, of 148 Arnette St., Pinehurst, have been charged with one count of felony larceny and one count of felony possession of stolen goods, according to a press release.

Both Campbell and Goins were jailed, with bail set at $5,000.
