Reports
Nov. 17: Female, 37, of Cameron, reported that a 15-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by an aquaintance; Male, 53, reported someone broke into his property on Haw Branch Road, Sanford, and removed tools, including a a hand saw, a chain saw and an electrical impact wrench; Male, 33, reported his 2006 BMW was vandalized on Rob Roy Lane, Southern Pines; A sheriff’s deputy reported damage to his police vehicle when he struck a deer on Union Church Road near McIntosh Road. The car sustained damage to the front license plate mount.
Nov. 18: Female, 44, reported someone broke into her 2003 Chevy and removed a DVD/stereo system and damaged the interior of the vehicle, which was parked on Gaines Street in Pinehurst near the victim’s home; Male, 44, reported the theft of automobile rims and tires from beside an outbuilding on the victim’s property on Cheyenne Road in Robbins; Male, 79, reported someone broke into a building on Doubs Chapel Road near the victim’s home and removed a aluminum hand truck and a set of pneumatic wheels for a hand truck.
Nov. 19: An employee with New Home Baptist Church in Vass reported someone cut the gas line at the church and removed about 6 feet of copper tubing; Female, 35, reported the theft of an air conditioning unit from her property on N.C. 705 in Eagle Springs; Male, 34, reported the theft of a bicycle from his home on Wright Road in Vass;
Female, 51, reported someone attempted to break into her home on Borden Road in Robbins; Male, 61, reported he was hit in the face by another individual during an incident that happened at the victim’s home on Smith Hill Road, Carthage; Male, 59, reported someone broke into his home on Woodberry Lane, Jackson Springs, and removed jewelry, a shotgun and a box of shotgun shells.
Nov. 20: Female, 66, reported a break-in at her home on Carriage Park Drive, West End. Items missing include silver coins and a gold money clip; Male, 78, reported the theft of a refrigerator, an air-conditioning unit, and wiring from his mobile home on Carthage Road, West End; Male, 65, reported that someone broke a lock on a storage unit on U.S. 1 North, and removed a 36-inch flat-screen television.
Nov. 21: Female, 32, reported she woke up in her home on Sandy Oak Road, Carthage and couldn’t find her pocketbook. The pocketbook contained various forms of identification, a checkbook, debit and credit cards and cash. The purse was found by the victim a few hours later; Female, 41, reported someone was peeking in the windows of her home on Snoozing Pine, Aberdeen; Male, 32, reported a missing bulldog from his home on Jason Road in Star.
