S.P. Man Charged With Statutory Rape

A Southern Pines man was arrested Friday on charges related to having sex with a 14-year-old.

John David Bloom, 26, of 261 Hale Street, Southern Pines has been charged with statutory rape, indecent liberties with child, sexual battery and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, according to a press release.

The charges stem from a report from the Department of Social Services to the Moore County Sheriff’s Office, according to the release.

Bloom was released on a $100,000 unsecured bond.

What in the world does a 26 year old man see in a 14 year old girl and where are the girls parents?? Do you not know who your kids are hanging out with, especialy at that age!! This guy will get his in jail.....!!
