The 2011 Miss Noel Scholarship Pageant and the Carolina Princess Pageant, co-sponsored by the Sandhills Business and Profession Women's Organization and the Miss Moore County Scholarship Association, will be held at the Aberdeen Elementary School Auditorium, Saturday, Nov. 13, at 6:30 p.m.
Co-hostesses for the event are Blair Puleo, Miss Moore County 2011, and Paige Adkins, Miss Moore County Outstanding Teen 2011.
The program is dedicated to the continuing support of local business, members and pageant families. The event is the main fundraiser for the SBPW scholarship funds. Scholarship awards are presented in the spring to deserving Moore County women of all ages, furthering their educational goals.
The Little Miss Noel Contestants are: Crystal McLean, daughter of Audra and Terry McLean, Jackson Springs; Amy Bumgarner, daughter of Sandy and Carey Bumgarner, West End; Amelia Guevara, daughter of Donna and Frank Guevara, Aberdeen; Jennifer Ryder, daughter of Patrice and Eric Ryder, West End; and Sophia Belle Esmond, daughter of Heather and Scott Esmond, Pinehurst.
The Junior Miss Noel contestant is Emily Mabe, daughter of Marie and Tony Mabe, Jackson Springs.
The Miss Noel contestants are: Makayla Blue, daughter of Heather Doolittle, Greensboro, and John Blue, Carthage; Vanessa Mogensen, daughter of Tanya Mogensen, of Pinebluff, and the late Sgt. Robert Mogensen.
Carolina Princess contestants are: Isabel Guevara, daughter of Donna and Frank Guevara, Aberdeen, and Alexandra Patterson, daughter of Heather and Scott Patterson, Aberdeen.
Tickets may be purchased from any contestant, or at the door at a cost of $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12.
