William D. Treadway, 42, of Robbins died Thursday when the 1987 Plymouth Voyager van he was driving ran off the right shoulder of Lamms Road and struck a tree at a high rate of speed, according to the State Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened at 10:42 p.m.
Treadway was the only person in the vehicle. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the Highway Patrol.
