The Miss Greater Sandhills Scholarship Pageant Association is now accepting applications for its 2010-2011 pageant, which will be held on Saturday, Sept. 11, at Sandhills Community College.

All applicants for the Outstanding Teen division must be ages 13-16, and applicants for the Miss division ages 17-24 on or before Sept. 11.

The Outstanding Teen division is open to all counties in North Carolina, and the Miss division is open to applicants who reside, work or attend school full time in Lee, Moore, Richmond or Scotland counties.

An informational meeting will be held for all interested applicants on Monday June 1, at the Aberdeen Recreation building on U.S. 15-501 in Aberdeen, at 7 p.m.
