Design Firm Announces Major Staff Changes

Artistic Kitchens & Baths, the Sandhill's leading custom cabinetry design, build and install firm, has announced a series of changes that will expand its design and installation capabilities.

Joining the firm as a designer will be Jamie Newell, who brings more than 10 years of custom cabinetry design experience to the design team. She will be -re-joining designer Amber Jensen. Both teamed at the old SanDavis Kitchens.

Rounding out the team is designer Whitney Wilson-Botts and David Botts, appliance and fixtures manager. They are supported by Jim Baynton, the company's senior consulting designer. He spent a number of years managing his own high-end cabinetry businesses in Washington, D.C., Roanoke and Charlotte. A third-generation cabinet designer, Baynton as also been a senior instructor for the National Kitchen and Bath Association, the kitchen and bath industry's education, licensing and information arm.

The company also announced the addition of Bo Collins and Ben Chamberlain to the installation and service group. Both have installed high-end custom -cabinetry for more than two decades in the area and are well-recognized by local builders and homeowners alike, as consummate craftsmen. a news release said.

Artistic Kitchens & Baths (AKB) is locally owned and operated by Deborah and John Wilson. Staffed by four professional designers, AKB is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the American Society of Interior Designers, the National Kitchen and Bath Association, the National Association for the Remodeling Industry and the Moore County Home Builders Association.

AKB designs, builds and installs cabinetry and supplies kitchen appliances and other kitchen and bath products for its remodeling and new home clients. The company's showroom is at 279 W. Pennsylvania Ave. in Southern Pines
