The Alfred Moore Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution announces its 2010 essay and Good Citizen winners.
Rachel Harriett Levy, daughter of Robert and Linda Levy, is an eighth-grader at The O’Neal School. She is the winner of this year’s American History Essay Contest.
Tyler Wallace, son of Timothy and Pamela Wallace, is in the 11th grade at North Moore High School. He is the Christopher Columbus Essay winner.
The Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizens are chosen by the faculty of their school and by their peers.
Victoria Hamilton Marley, daughter of Frank and Jan Marley, is a senior at North Moore High School, where she was chosen DAR Good Citizen.
Thomas Miller, son of Heri Miller, was chosen DAR Good Citizen at The O’Neal School.
The winners and their parents were honored at the April luncheon meeting of the Alfred Moore DAR Chapter.
