North Moore pulled off a three-game sweep of North Rowan Friday.
In its regular-season finale, the varsity baseball team won 8-4 on the road to improve to 15-7 overall and 12-4 in Yadkin Valley 1A Conference play.
The Mustangs host the conference tournament this week. They’ll play a first-round game at home on Monday at 7 p.m. and host both semifinal games on Tuesday, with the final set for Thursday.
The No. 2 seed behind regular-season champion South Stanly, North Moore enters the tournament as the defending champion.
Meanwhile, the softball team bounced back from just its second loss of the season to post an 8-4 win.
The Lady Mustangs (20-2, 13-2) host West Montgomery Monday at 6 p.m. and will hold Senior Night ceremonies prior to the game.
The JV baseball team won 4-3 to finish the season 16-1 and 13-1 in conference play.
