Polocrosse Club Garners Awards

The Carolina Polocrosse Club traveled to Ocala, Fla., last weekend for the opening tournament of the 2010 season, the Florida Classic, hosted by Charlie Horse Polocrosse Club.

The club returned with accolades galore, including second-place finishes in four divisions. 

Christopher Younger and Wade Liner earned Best Player nods, and Manny Diemer’s Argentine mare, Pancha, came home with a Best Horse award.

The Carolina Polocrosse Club will host its annual Tarheel Classic May 15-16 at the Pinehurst Harness Track. This year’s tournament will feature an international division showcasing top players from around the globe.
