The Arabic language ranks sixth in the world, with an estimated 186 million native speakers. As the language of the Quran, the holy book of Islam, it is also widely used throughout the Muslim world.

The Community Enrichment Division of Continuing Education at Sandhills Community College is offering "Arabic-Intermediate Conversation" Thursdays, March 25, through May 13, from 7 to 9 p.m. The registration fee for this course is $65. A textbook is not required. Registration deadline is March 18.

The required textbooks are available in the SCC Bookstore in Dempsey Student Center.
