I have been a customer of Pinehurst Toyota for more than 20 years. Toyota has been my car of choice for all those years.

Pinehurst Toyota has handled every car purchase, not only for myself, but also for every member of my immediate family. Toyota has given me peace of mind because of its reliability and good quality. When my children started to drive, I put them in Toyotas and to this day, they continue to make Toyota their brand of choice.

The quality of American cars became better because Toyota and Honda challenged Detroit by making first-class reliable automobiles. The American consumer benefited from this open market competition. For 50 years, Toyota has earned its place in the market one car at a time.

I do not condone its most recent “head in the sand” attitude about safety, but I also believe it will fix the existing mechanical problems and put safety as its No. 1 priority once again.

My most recent experience with the recalled gas pedal on my 2008 Toyota was handled very professionally at Pinehurst Toyota. Toyota may have made the car, but Pinehurst Toyota has always made the difference. I trust the safety of my family to the professionals at Pinehurst Toyota.
