Sunrise Presents 'Broken Embraces' Tonight

March comes in like a lion with Sunrise Theater's SunFlix series presentation of "Broken Embraces," showing today and Saturday through Monday, March 6-8.
Shows are at 7:30 p.m. each day with a 2:30 p.m. matinee on Saturday and Sunday. This foreign drama is rated R and runs for 2 hours and 8 minutes. Directed by Pedro Almodovar, "Broken Embraces" was an official selection at the Cannes, Toronto and New York film festivals. The film stars Penelope Cruz, Lluis Homar, Blanca Portillo, Jose Luis Gomez and Ruben Ochandiano.
The historic Sunrise Theater, located at 250 NW Broad St. in Southern Pines, is nonprofit. Ticket prices are $7 for evening shows and $6 for the matinee. Refreshments, including beer and wine are available, and all movies are commercial free. Call the theater at (910) 692-3611.
