Aberdeen Man Faces Drug Charges

An Aberdeen man was charged with various drug offenses Thursday.
Vincent Earl McRae, 22, of 145 Gaines Street, Aberdeen, was found to also be wanted on several outstanding warrants when arrested by officers from the Moore County Sheriff’s Office select enforcement unit in the Jackson Hamlet community, according to a press release.
Officers located and seized 14 Ecstasy pills, crack cocaine, marijuana, one gram of powered cocaine, a .45 caliber handgun and $35 during the arrest of McRae, according to the release.
McRae has been charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule I controlled substance, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, felony possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, misdemeanor resisting a public officer and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
McRae was wanted on outstanding warrants from the Southern Pines Police Department and from the Moore County Sheriff’s Office.
He was jailed, with bail set at $125,000.

With all the charges against his guy, why should he have a bond. Dealing drugs is just one of the charges against him, he has also broken into houses and wrecked vehicles. If he's been sought for so long, I say lock him up and throw away the key. Those aren't all the charges against him, there are more. One more drug dealing punk taken off the streets.
