The Haven-Friends for Life, with more than 31,000 adoptions since 1996, will be holding a special adoption events at The Haven, in Raeford, Saturday, July 3, and Sunday, July 4.

Also, starting immediately, adoption costs on select dogs and cats have been significantly reduced to help these animals find loving homes.

Each dog and cat comes vaccinated, spayed/neutered and microchipped. The adoption fee for select dogs weighing more than 35 pounds and are more than a year old is $80 and for select dogs weighing more than 35 pounds and more than three years old, $50.

Cat adoption fees are $80 for select adult shorthairs and $50 for all adult short-haired black cats.

The Haven is also open weekdays by appointment by calling (910) 875-6768. The Haven also welcomes approved rescues looking to adopt pets. The Haven-Friends for Life is located at 400 Fulford-McMillan Road in Raeford.
