FAYETTEVILLE, NC – The Haven-Friends for Life, NC’s most successful animal rescue shelter with over 31,000 adoptions since 1996, will be holding special adoption events at The Haven in Raeford (dates below). Also, starting immediately, adoption costs on select dogs and cats have been significantly reduced to help these animals find loving homes.

Dates: June 26-27 (Sat & Sun) and July 3-4 (Sat & Sun): 1-4pm each day with tours of The Haven’s new buildings at 1 and 3pm each day.

One Solider has stepped forward to help. Army Sergeant David Osgood has pledged to pay $10 toward the adoption fees of any animal over three years old, adopted this weekend in addition to the already reduced fee. “So many of these dogs and cats are pets from Soldiers like me who deployed and couldn’t take their pets with them,” said Osgood. “The Haven has always been there for those Servicemembers and their pets and helping them find forever homes is how I’d like to thank The Haven.”

Each dog and cat comes vaccinated, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Younger dogs and cats will continue to be at our two adoption locations:
