Emmy McLean, Miss Greater Sandhills 2010, was selected as one of the top 11 finalists in the Miss North Carolina Pageant held Saturday night in Raleigh's Meymandi Concert Hall. McLean, who sang during the talent portion of the competition, was named Miss Congeniality by her peers and also received the Spirit Award. Aberdeen resident Charity Haskins, Miss Moore County 2010, received a non-finalist talent award.

Morgan Ammons, Miss Greater Sandhills Outstanding Teen, and Katie Kearns, Miss Moore County Outstanding Teen, competed in Friday night's pageant.
