Southern Pines Police Reports Through June 17

The Southern Pines Police Department supplied the following information.

Individuals are innocent until proven otherwise.

ARRESTS

June 10: Matthew James Owens Jr., 17, of Aberdeen, carrying concealed weapon and possessing/carrying firearm by a minor; Takai Terrell Roe, 16, of Southern Pines, misdemeanor larceny.

June 12: Justin Aaron Caton, 22, of Whispering Pines, drug possession and failure to stop at stop sign; Thomas Grant Danzeisen, 41, of Cameron, failure to appear; Clark Duval Waddell, 17, drug possession.

June 14: Lonnie James Daniels, 45, of Southern Pines, failure to appear,.

June 15: Gerald Lee Servo, 38, of Pinehurst, misdemeanor larceny, possession of stolen goods and breaking and entering railroad cars or other motor vehicles.

REPORTS

June 14: Female, 22, of Waxhaw, N.C., reported an unknown person used her identity to obtain cable television service; male, 30, reported a stranger vandalized his vehicle by using an unknown instrument to damage the paint and a tire rim in the 800 block of Mechanic Street; female, 28, reported that a suspect took her cell phone from a restaurant in the 1800 block of U.S. 1.

June 15: Male, 43, of Carthage, reported finding marijuana in the 100 block of Gossman Drive; male, 39, reported an acquaintance stole a child’s bike from the Bell Tree Restaurant; female, 86, reported a stranger obtained money from her through fraudulent means.

June 16: Female, 62, reported a stranger assaulted her by striking her in the face in the 500 block of Shaw Avenue.; male, 41, of Rockingham, reported a Pepsi vending machine at a the Springhill Suites by Marriott was broken into and money was taken; female, 28, reported a stranger assaulted her by striking her in the shoulder in the 1800 block of U.S. 1 South; female, 78, reported an unknown suspect communicated threats to her and exposed themselves to her in the 500 block of South Stephens Street; male, 48, reported a stranger forcibly entered his home in the 1000 block of Richards Street, and stole a television.

June 17: Male 55, reported a case of fraud by an acquaintance who allegedly used money from a business for personal gain; male, 20, reported the breaking and entering and theft of an iPod Touch from his vehicle that was parked in the 10000 block of U.S. 15-501; female, 42, reported a larceny of jewelry, including wedding rings, watches and earrings from her home in the 300 block of Elk Road.

June 18: Female, 23, reported someone did an estimated $5,000 damage to her vehicle while it was parked in the 1100 block of Lowe Ave.

June 19: A juvenile reported he was robbed at gunpoint of cash and cell phone in an area near N. Bennett Street and New Hampshire Avenue; male, 21, reported a suspect shot him in the leg with a handgun in the 400 block of Shaw Avenue
