Allen Buie, of Vass, announces the engagement of his daughter, Allison Buie, of Vass, to David Strohacker II, of Cameron.

The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Tammy Buie. She is the granddaughter of Joyce Beal, of Goldston, and the late Reid Beal, and Johnnie and Irene Buie, of Vass.

The groom-elect is the son of David Strohacker, of Cameron, and Donna Taylor, of Vass, and the grandson of Al Strohacker and the late Marjorie Strohacker, and Gary and Hazel Fulk.

A Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, wedding is planned.
