The Little Patriots Youth Football Summer Camp, sponsored by the Sandhills Optimist Club, will be held over two sessions June 21-24 and July 5-8 at Pinecrest High School.

The June 21-24 portion will run from 12:30-3:30 p.m. each day, and the July 5-8 portion will run from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. each day. Both sessions are full-pads, full-contact. Equipment will be issued on Monday, June 21.

The cost per camper is $200. Students enrolled in kindergarten through the eighth grades are invited to attend. No child will be exluded because of financial hardship.

The mission of the camp is to provide each camper with 24 hours of the best football instruction possible. The staff will be led by Pinecrest head football coach Chris Metzger and will feature his staff and guest coaches from around the area.

All drills and sessions will be conducted in groups based on age. Camp attire is shorts, T-shirts, athletic socks, cleats and running shoes. Campers should bring lunch and plenty of water each day.
