Eagle Springs Man Charged With Larceny

Moore County Sheriff’s investigators arrested a man June 8 on several charges relating to an alleged break-in.

Johnny McGoogan, 46, of 263 Poplar Ridge Road, Eagle Springs, has been charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny and felony possession of stolen property, according to a press release.

The charges stemmed from a May 28 break-in on Mount Carmel Road in the Eagle Springs.  A man reported to the sheriff’s office that someone had gained entry to a building by breaking a side window and removing several items, according to the press release.

McGoogan was released on a $10,000 unsecured bond.
