Village Design Group is celebrating 28 years in business

Founded in 1982 as Pinehurst Interiors, Village Design Group (VDG) was initially housed in the historic Theater Building in the village of Pinehurst. With its current team of eight designers, it is the largest interior design group in the region.

The company's 28-year history and continuing dedication to providing quality service and products have made Village Design Group well-respected throughout Moore County, a news release said. Recently, the designers calculated their total interior design experience to a combined 250 years.

VDG assists clients in relocation services, new construction and fully furnished vacation and resort property as well as commercial design.

The 12,000-square-foot Interior Design Center is on U.S. 15-501 and welcomes anyone in need of fabric, carpet, wallcovering, flooring, window treatments, lighting, accessories and more. This selection is critical to the success of a design project in that it allows each designer to create the most pleasing palette of materials and colors for clients, said owner Vicki Stone. She said Village Design Group prides itself on being able to provide everything needed to furnish a home and/or commercial business.
