Three local event riders will travel to Quebec this week to compete in the Bromont International Three-Day Event, to be held at the Bromont Olympic Park.
Two Southern Pines riders will compete in the CCI* division at Bromont, the last major North American event before the World Equestrian Games in September. Olympic veteran John Williams, a member of the U.S. team at the 2002 WEG, will ride Sweepea Dean, and Gina Fiore will ride Feral Errol.
Will Faudree, of Raeford, will ride two horses at Bromont: Andromaque (CCI*) and Dinero (CCI).
The Bromont Olympic Park, which hosted the equestrian events at the 1976 Olympics, is the only Olympic equestrian venue still in use.

What a beautiful story about a wonderful animal. Anyone who has ever ridden much will identify with the love sent through this story. Horses and dogs, you gotta love 'em in a special way.
