Sean Kilcher, of Fayetteville, has been named as >this year's recipient of the Ohio State Buckeye Scholarship given by the local alumni club.

Kilcher is a graduate of Terry Sanford High School and is currently enrolled at Ohio State as a freshman. There he has maintained a grade point average of more than 3.2.

Both of Kilcher's parents graduated from Ohio State, and he is carrying on the family tradition.

"We wish him the best as he continues his education at the finest university in the world," says a spokesman.
