Claytons Celebrate Golden Anniversary

James and Marie Clayton, of Pinehurst, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 22, 2010, at Squires Pub in Southern Pines. Family and friends gathered to congratulate the couple, who were married on May 21, 1960, at First Christian Church in Kingsport, Tenn.
The couple lived in Arlington, Va., until their retirement to Pinehurst in 1985.
