It took just 33 holes on Saturday for Donald Constable to win the 110th North & South Amateur Championship.

In the 36-hole championship pairing against 13th seeded Kelly Kraft at Pinehurst No. 2, the 31st seeded Constable jumped out to an 8-up lead through 25 holes and held on for a 4 and 3 win.

His round included three birdies and two eagles, one apiece on the par-5 16th and the par-5 22nd.
