Leaving Accident Scene Was Not a Christian Act

Wednesday, Jan. 27, between 7:20 a.m. and 9:45 a.m., someone sideswiped our car in the parking lot of Pinehurst Medical Clinic East, 205 Page Road, Pinehurst.
I was having a medical procedure, and afterward my wife went to the parking lot to retrieve the car while the nurse wheeled me to the curb. When she arrived, she announced the lawlessness to me and the nurse. I was still groggy from the anesthesia.
To that person: You should have left a note on the windshield if you were in a hurry. To do less is criminal and not Christian. You did leave residue white paint on our light gray Toyota. We were parked in the lot closest to Page Road in the second slot from the closest end to the entry road. You were parked in the very end slot nearest to both the entrance and Page Road. There was a dark blue Honda Odyssey parked in the spot next to our car when we left. Perhaps that person saw the car that pulled out and remembers that it was white and something else about it to help us identify the offender.
You have two choices: Call us and accept responsibility, or I will find you with help from folks who will read this and who were in that parking lot about that time and remembers something about you (or possibly a neighbor who will see the new damage to your car). I will be searching for a white late-model sedan with smudges of gray paint and/or dents and scratches possibly to the right front bumper/fender.
You could be a law-abiding Christian who simply did a bad thing. If so, you will get in touch with us. We are in the Pinehurst phone book. Thanks in advance.

It probably is not christian like to leave the scene of an accident, but it most certainly is illegal and unconscionable.
