Pinecrest's Hannah Hensley won four events at Thursday's Polar Bear track meet held at Pinecrest, posting qualifying times for the state indoor championships on Feb. 13 in each.

The versatile freshman took first in the high jump, long jump, 55-meter hurdles and the 300-meter dash. Other winners for the Patriot girls in the meet, which attracted athletes from Union Pines, Scotland County, E.E. Smith and Southern Lee, were Emily Jones in the 55-meter dash and Ceci Weibert in the pole vault. The Patriot boys' Dylan Gaffney was first in the shot put.

Representing Union Pines, John Minott was first in the long jump and Lamont Reaves took the 1,000-meter run.
