Expected wintry weather has forced more postponements to area basketball games scheduled for tonight.

Pinecrest has postponed its games hosting Lumberton to Wednesday, while North Moore has postponed its games hosting South Davidson to Feb. 10.

Meanwhile, Union Pines is still planning to play its home games versus Western Harnett, with the varsity girls' game starting at 4 p.m. and the varsity boys to tip off soon after. Union Pines' JV teams will be at Western for a doubleheader starting at 3:30 p.m.

Thursday, O'Neal School's games at Cape Fear Academy were postponed to next Thursday.

The tournament at Chapel Hill High School that Union Pines' wrestling team was scheduled to participate in this weekend has been cancelled.
