In response to Steve Bouser’s column “Edwards Became His Own Worst Enemy” (Jan. 20), it is a shame that The Pilot and mainstream media did not print the truth about John Edwards when they knew it.

And where is the outrage that Messrs. Helleman and Halperin, authors of “Game Change,” will profit handsomely by ­withholding vital information from voters leading up to the 2008 presidential election? Leave it to the National Enquirer to break the story while the The Pilot and ­mainstream media slurped down the Edwards’ Kool-Aid. So much for unbiased reporting!
