One of Steve Bouser's wishes for 2010, in his Dec. 30 column, is "fewer people to make a phony issue out of President Obama's czars." He states that George W. Bush "had more czars running around."

While Bush indeed did have more czars, he only had 16 czar positions that were filled by 40 different people during the eight years. Obama has created 32 czar positions in just his first year, so no, Steve, I will not "give it a rest."
