Many of us have taken pride in the recent successes of the rejuvenated Pinecrest High School football program and the remarkable community support of the program.

Meanwhile, coach Mike Apple has quietly built an equally successful basketball program at Pinecrest. His current team has won 19 of 21 games, is undefeated in conference play and is ranked well up in the top 10 in the state.

Apple and his scrappy and talented team need and deserve the community’s support in tournament play.
