The Pinecrest jayvee boys' basketball team improved to 4-2 in the Southeastern Conference and 15-4 overall with a 70-41 win at Lumberton on Wednesday.

The Patriots were led in the scoring department by Tyrek McLaughlin with 17 points and Adam Cummings and Daquan McCrimmon with eight points each.

The Pinecrest jayvee boys are scheduled to entertain Purnell Swett Friday at 6:30 p.m. preceded by the game between the Patriot and Ram girls at 5 p.m.
