The Professional Development area of the division of Continuing Education at Sandhills Community College is the region's source for adult learners who want to hone particular workplace skills, need certification in certain areas, want to improve their marketability, or simply need a refresher course.

Under the N.C. Motor Vehicles OBD Emissions Control Inspection Law, certification and recertification are required.

"OBD Emissions Control Inspection Recertification" will be offered on Monday, Feb. 8, from 6 to 10 p.m. The registration fee is $65 (waived for those 65 or older) plus a $5 technology fee and a textbook. The class will also be held on March 8, April 12 and May 3.
