N.C. State Ballet Performs 'Nutcracker'

Gabor Kapin and Anne Talkington perform in the North Carolina State Ballet's production of the "Nutcracker" on Saturday, Dec. 11, and Sunday, Dec. 12, at the Crown Center Theatre in Fayetteville.
Kapin will be performing the dual roles of Nutcracker Prince and Cavalier with the Sugar Plum Fairy. The role of the Sugar Plum Fairy will played by Alicia Fabry. Guest artists are principal dancers with the Carolina Ballet in Raleigh. Other lead roles include Anne Talkington alternating with April Glasper as grown-up Clara.
The "Nutcracker" is directed by Charlotte Blume and features a cast of 60 dancers and actors. Curtain time is 3 p.m.
Tickets for the "Nutcracker" may be purchased at the Crown Center box office and through Ticketmaster.com. Tickets are $16 for general seating. Groups may make reservations by calling (910) 485-4965.
