Moore County Sheriff’s investigators have arrested an Eagle Springs man in connection with several break-ins.

Johnny Colon Luck Jr., 43, of 344 Manley Road, Eagle Springs, was arrested Tuesday and charged with three counts of felony breaking and entering, felony larceny and felon possession of stolen property, according to a release from the Sheriff’s Office.

The arrested stemmed from a report from David Person who told investigators that someone had gained entry into his storage buildings on three different occasions between Dec. 5 and Dec. 7. The subject(s) reportedly stole numerous tools and work equipment.

Investigators arrested Luck after finding the victim’s stolen property a short distance from Luck’s residence.

He was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for Dec. 16 in Moore County District Court.
