Kitchen Essence will host a book signing today for Deborah Krasner, award-winning cookbook author, who will speak about her new book, “Good Meat: The Complete Guide to Sourcing and Cooking Sustainable Meat.”

“Kitchen Essence and Elliott’s on Linden are excited to host Deborah,” says a spokesman.

The reading will begin at 11 a.m. followed by a book signing. From noon to 12:30 p.m. there will be a demonstration by chef Mark Elliott and a tasting of local products.

Krasner will read and sign books again from 1 until 3 p.m.

“We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy the event,” says a spokesman.
