Three Charged in Theft of Copper Wire

Three people have been arrested for allegedly taking a large amount of copper wire from an Aberdeen man’s property.

Moore County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested two people Tuesday and one person Wednesday in connection with the theft that took place on Monday, according to a press release.

Christopher James Allen, 21, of 718 Barnell Drive, Aberdeen, and Dustin Robert Bender, 20, 104 Martin Street, Carthage were arrested Tuesday, with both being charged with one count felony larceny, one count felony possession of stolen goods and one count unlawful transportation of copper, according to the release.

Savannah Shay Waller, 20, 104 Martin Street, Carthage, was arrested Wednesday and charged with one count felony larceny, one count felony possession of stolen goods and one count unlawful transportation of copper, according to the release.

Allen and Bender were both jailed, with bail set at $10,000 for each. Waller received a custody release.

Bender really does need alot of jail time probation or little 8 month sentences don't do any good!

Waller is pregnant so that is a great start to that babies future!

Allen has money so it won't even matter!

We know who stole it, now lets find out who was buying it knowing it was stolen. And how can the subject be changed from stolen copper to healthcare? Education, loss of civility everywhere, reality TV, excessive unemployment compensation, dumbing down standardized tests, entitlement mentality, no swift and sure consequences....on and on. There is no spirit of the law. There is a loss of morality and ethics.....society is crumbling all around us with lawlessness and recidivism.
