Three Teenagers Charged With Possessing Stolen Guns
Three Aberdeen teenagers have been arrested and charged with the possession of stolen guns.
Jamel Rashawn Verbal, 18, of the 200 block of Meadowfield Circle, was arrested Monday and charged with one count of possession of a stolen firearm, according to a press release. Chaquwann Carvelle Stubbs, 18, of 305 John McQueen Road, was arrested Aug. 19 and charged with one count of possession stolen firearm. Jason McLean, 18, of 1706 North Popular Street, was arrested Aug. 9 and charged with one count of possession of a stolen firearm.
The arrests stemmed from a report to the Moore County Sheriff’s Office on July 23 by an Aberdeen man that someone had entered his residence and removed his firearms, according to the release.
All three had $15,000 bails set when arrested.
