After reading “Guess Who Really Wants Big Government” (Aug. 11), my first thought was, “Out of the mouths of babes comes forth the truth.”

It is an article based on facts, and the most significant fact is that it is written by a “rising star” at Pinecrest High School. Although not a “babe,” Andrew Soboeiro is years younger than I am, and obviously an exceptional student. He appears well read on recent ­government history to be speaking from learned facts and not just expressing his “views.”

Readers should review his article with an open mind and recognize the importance of researching the facts before espousing one’s thoughts in The Public Speaking section.

Accolades to Andrew. You serve us all well, and may you continue to be a ­rising star.
