Too bad you didn't try it on a 16 year old who could have drop kicked you and choked you out, old man! I hope you rot for taking away the innocence of our youth. There needs to be stronger punishment for offenders like you! I am praying for this poor child.

until the man is convicted can we possibly assume that maybe he is innocent?

Don't worry, Taxed. If the court finds Mr. Farron to have been falsely accused, don't you think that The Pilot will report those findings (and reprint Mr. Farron's photo) just as prominently as it has reported these allegations (and printed his photo)?
No? You don't think so?
I don't, either.

First, let me say he is 83 years old. He might be on medication that alters his thinking/reasoning skills. He might be dealing with Alzheimer/Dementia. When i met him several years ago he was a wonderful, kind man. I feel for both families, the 8 year old and the 83 year old.

to injuredlist, the pilot would not print another picture, or do much of a story if the man was found innocent. it would be not as shocking as this original story, so it would be buried on the back pages somewhere. The man would for the rest of his life appear guilty in peoples minds, even though he maybe did nothing wrong. carolinacountrygirl is spot on. this man may have to take mind-altering mediciations just to survive with having a disease. we dont know that. so if the evidence shows in the trial and jury votes him guilty, then we have to find a special prison for him because he would be helpless against rape and other things that happen to weak inmates.

If the evidence shows him to be guilty then he needs to be housed as Regular inmate im not worried about his comfort and care at that point. as for the meds thing all i can say is hummmm could be, but it could also be he has made it for 83 years as a pedophile and not gotten caught in all that time........... either way i am sure the District Attorneys office will be more than willing to cut him a deal to avoid a trial
